New Alumni Working Committees

Working Committees

In response to the 2019 all-alumni survey, we heard alumni when you asked for more opportunities to engage with Mary Baldwin. Beginning in 2020-2021, we are introducing new "open-working committees" that will support six key initiatives that came out of the survey: Communications, Career/Mentoring, Regional Engagement, Lifelong Learning, Programs/Events, and Young Alumni/Affinity Group activities.

These committees have an open-membership model, which means any alumna/us can join them at any time and that alumni may join more than one committee at a time. The model is meant to be flexible to fluid so that alumni may join for a period of time of their choosing for one or more committees. In 2020-2021, the scope of work of these committees will be on-going for approximately three months, and then move to a monthly meeting schedule with on-going work. The leadership of these committees will make up the new Alumni Leadership Board.

All are welcome, and we hope you'll raise your hand to join us now or in the near future!
